I don't know if it's the infertile in me or just the simple logic that resides in my brain, but WHYYYY????
I actually posted about them on my blog months ago when they were pg with #16 "This brings me to another more famous large family. That family (forget the name off the top of my head) with 15 children and she's pregnant again with #16!!!!!! I'm not trying to say people can't have as many children as they are able to provide for, this family seems to be doing a decent job of providing material things for their brood. But, I wonder, are they being provided with a quality childhood? The older siblings are 'mini-moms' to the younger ones and the younger ones are being raised by siblings more than the parents. I just have a problem with that. Don't get me wrong, my grandmother had 10 children (I, apparently, didn't inherit her fertility) so I am a product of a large family. Had my grandparents stopped at the traditional 3-4 kids, my mom wouldn't be here, and neither would I, but still, I can't get past this feeling that it's irresponsible and selfish. I watched that special and have paid attention to that name in the news over the past few years. That is insane. I know they have everything worked out to a science, but they still make me want to vomit even more than I already do. Kids should have more time with their parents. They shouldn't grow up with their "partnered sibling" as more of a parent to them than their actual parents. I can't believe her uterus hasn't fallen out by now! Your body isn't meant for that
My husband and I tried to get pregnant since December 2001 - we were finally successful with our first IVF in October 2006. Our wonderful twins, Benjamin and Ella, were born on June 12, 2007. Our youngest, Nicholas, was born on February 25, 2009. I'm currently 38.

I think as a baby gift we could all chip in and send a gross of condoms to them.
