IVF # 1 is starting
So AF arrived today, so I will soon be starting on those BCPs again. I need to go pick those up from the pharmacy tomorrow and the nurse said to start them on Saturday (instead of Sunday like she had told me previously).
Also, she wants me to come in for a "binder visit" to go over the calendar for this cycle. So on Wednesday of next week, that's what I'll be doing.
It's exciting and scary that it is all starting to happen.

I found your blog through one mothers journey and I just wanted to wish you luck...I went through Infertility for 8 of the longest years of my life and I still get flashes remembering Pergona, transvag ultrasounds, ovaries the size of melons and on and on....I do want to tell you that it is all worth it...you will never be able to look back and think you should have tried harder. Good luck...Chris

My internet connection at work was very spotty, so that's why it was posted three times. I didn't know that it had posted, so I kept trying.

Great news that your cycle is getting started! I just got AF as well but I won't be able to start my next IVF cycle until October :(

The first IVF cycle is a really mix of excitement and nerves. Try to ride the excitement part of the coaster as long as possible.

Heather
I just stumbled over here from cyclesista.
I am just sending you good wishes on your first ivf cycle - oh the emotions you must be feeling!
My best advice is to just try and take it one day at a time. So much easier to say than to do - I know!

The first time is always the scarriest. In any phase of ART, it brings with it hope but it could also be damn scarry. I'm sending you best wishes as you try this new path. May it be the one we're all looking for. Good luck!
